Paul (Grandad) Openshaw – Dorset Songwriter

Say hello to Dorset-based songwriter Paul, affectionately known as Grandad. His performances are like catching up with an old friend—relaxed, familiar, and full of stories. He began writing songs in his teens after receiving his first guitar for Christmas, and his songwriting has grown ever since, blending wit, warmth, and thought-provoking lyrics. Whether humorous or heartfelt, Paul’s songs are rooted in self-expression rather than commercial intent, and his easy-going style creates a truly inviting atmosphere.
