Osmington Village Hall is a ‘Covid-safe’ venue. Some distancing restrictions may be in place, masks must be worn unless seated (unless guidelines change before the gig) and hand sanitiser is provided. A one-way system for entry and exit will be in place.
We are delighted to bring The Last Inklings and Roswell to Osmington in a rare (for us) double bill, in an exciting fundraiser for Wessex Folk Festival. These wonderful musicians were to have appeared at WFF 2021 before C19 forced a cancellation.
THE LAST INKLINGS are Leonardo MacKenzie and David Hoyland. Their sound crosses genres, centred around cello, mandolin and vocal harmony. Their songs have a modern flavour rich with imagery and narrative, exploring at their core what it is to be human.
ROSWELL – a Folk/Americana duo from London who’ve been likened to First Aid Kit and the Indigo Girls. Winners of Purbeck Rising 2018, a real treat for the ears, with wonderful harmonies and rich instrumentals. This promises to be a lovely evening!
Osmington Village Hall is an airy and modern venue, ideally suited for intimate concerts such as this one.. Bar and free parking, too!
