tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4840367992821319431.post4799888543473421313..comments2009-08-16T09:49:43.401+01:00Wessex Folk Festivalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09450753096078917775noreply@blogger.comBlogger3125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4840367992821319431.post-45387107761529482522008-08-16T10:57:00.000+01:002008-08-16T10:57:00.000+01:00After such a successful festival, it's perhaps a bit challenging to see how it could be improved.<BR/><BR/>As with all folk festivals, however, there are probably a lot of different stakeholders and each perhaps needs to be considered separately.<BR/><BR/>Examples of some stakeholders could include:<BR/><BR/>the general tourist who sees the festival in passing<BR/><BR/>the tourist who comes to Weymouth because of the folk festival<BR/><BR/>the dedicated folkie who specifically enjoys any one of either sessions, concerts or workshops<BR/><BR/>the hoteliers and tourist industry that get extra bookings because of the festival<BR/><BR/>the local bands who get public exposure because of the folk festival<BR/><BR/>even perhaps local businesses who may currently feel they are not benefiting from the festival or who feel they are being adversely affected.<BR/><BR/>I'm sure there are many other stakeholders whose individual cases could be considered and their needs catered for and improved.<BR/><BR/>However, there is one stakeholder that it is easy to forget and that is all the hard working people who make the festival possible.
